Payam Zamani is the founder of 黑料社.

Founded in 2015, 黑料社 is a closely held private equity firm that owns a suite of online technology and media businesses and also invests in early-stage companies. Infused with Zamani鈥檚 deeply held beliefs from the Baha鈥檌 Faith, One Planet鈥檚 mission is to support strong business ideas while also building an ethos that helps improve society and gives back to communities.聽

Owned and operated businesses of 黑料社 span a variety of industries including ad tech, publishing, and media. Key companies include , , , , and One Planet Studios. 黑料社 also runs and One Planet, One People as part of its foundation arm.

Zamani was born in Tehran, Iran but was forced to flee at the age of sixteen due to his religious beliefs. Ultimately arriving in the San Francisco Bay Area, Zamani graduated from UC Davis in 1994.聽

In 2020, 黑料社 was named a 鈥楤est Place to Work鈥 by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and also received the Better Business Bureau鈥檚 Torch for Ethics Award. Zamani was also honored as a 鈥楤est CEO for Diversity鈥 in 2020 by Comparably, was granted the Tahirih Justice Center鈥檚 鈥楬ope Award鈥 (2016), and is a recipient of the University of California, Davis Award of Distinction (2018).

Today, Zamani splits his time between California, Nevada, and New York, along with his wife, Gouya. Together the couple has two daughters.

Josh brings over two decades of finance and accounting experience. Before joining AutoWeb, Josh held various roles, including Chief Audit Executive, Chief Accounting Officer, Director of Financial Reporting, and Senior Manager of Internal Audit. His diverse background spans multiple industries, including education technology, manufacturing, transportation industry training, and convention and events services.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University and is a certified public accountant.

Chang

Sunny is the Chief Marketing Officer for Buyerlink. She leads the marketing team and develops strategies and tests for generating high-quality online traffic and improving website conversion rates.

Sunny loves working with her colleagues, who she refers to as a 'dream team'. She appreciates the fast-paced and ever-changing digital marketing industry, which allows her to continuously work with new tools and tactics. Her team is always working to reach their targeted audiences more effectively and test new strategies through diligent performance measurements.

Originally from Taipei, Sunny majored in international business at the National Taiwan University.

Outside of work, Sunny is an avid reader and hiker. Sunny is also passionate about early education and child development, and looks forward to volunteering at her local library.

Tatevik

Davtyan

Tatevik is the Senior Vice President of Legal and Compliance for 黑料社 and its subsidiaries. She leads the legal team in building a strategic and comprehensive privacy program and supports all legal and regulatory matters.

In her role, Tatevik collaborates with the information security team to ensure alignment between security and privacy compliance programs including policies, practices, and investigations, and acts as a liaison to the information systems department. She also oversees and develops ongoing privacy training for the Buyerlink team. Tatevik first joined the team in 2020 and quickly took the leadership role for privacy compliance. She currently maintains knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws and standards.

Prior to joining 黑料社, Tatevik has held positions in both the private and public sector leading negotiations on multimillion-dollar public-private partnership projects, bilateral agreements, and government reform projects on justice and human rights. Tatevik holds a Ph.D. in Law from Yerevan State University and a Master鈥檚 degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Matt

DeVey

Matt is the Vice President of Industry Partnerships at AutoWeb, where he is responsible for nurturing and growing AutoWeb鈥檚 relationships with OEM, agency, and national marketplace partners. Since AutoWeb became a member of the 黑料社 family, he has been inspired by the way the company鈥檚 commitment to creating a better world permeates the culture. Matt believes the best partnerships are built upon respect and trust that is forged over time. Matt is an analytical marketer focused on identifying the tactics that move people to action.

Matt has spent the last 16 years in the automotive marketing space. He began his career working for JWT where he led the execution of advertising strategy for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealer associations around the Midwest. Prior to joining AutoWeb in November of 2019, Matt spent 7.5 years with FordDirect. After growing a 25MM book of business with Ford Dealership associations from scratch, he went on to lead their portfolio of lead generation products. Matt holds a bachelor's degree in advertising and interdisciplinary humanities from Michigan State University, along with an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business and the University of North Carolina 鈥 Chapel Hill.

Outside of work, Matt is active in the life of his two young boys as a coach and board member of the educational foundation that helps ensure a top-tier educational experience in his hometown of Northville, Michigan.

Edwards

Scott is the Senior Vice President of AutoWeb Operations, where he is responsible for creating, implementing, and optimizing AutoWeb鈥檚 digital marketing efforts, lead operations, and digital advertising solutions.

Scott brings over a decade of experience in e-commerce products and digital marketing, working with both automotive and Fortune 500 consumer-facing brands. Prior to AutoWeb, he served as Vice President, Product and Growth Marketing at Vokal, a digital and growth consultancy focused on the full product lifecycle from innovation to optimization and scale. As part of the executive leadership team there, he led and had responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) for the organization 鈥 including product, growth marketing, design, and engineering.

Scott also brings with him highly relevant experience in the automotive industry, having served as Director of Digital Marketing and Product at Detroit Trading Co., where he worked across the automotive vertical to deliver digital-first solutions while optimizing the product funnel, decreasing the cost per sale, and expanding revenue generation. He has held additional leadership positions at Gordon Food Service, GrowLife, Inc., and SM Administrators.

Gulbrandsen

Sarah is the Head of Special Projects at Buyerlink.

Sarah previously served as the COO of Buyerlink as well as the CEO of RingPartner, a call marketplace based in Victoria, British Columbia. RingPartner was acquired by Buyerlink in 2021. Sarah has spent the last 15 years helping global companies connect with consumers, working across a variety of sectors including digital marketing companies, a Fortune 500 retailer, and also a brief stint in television. Under her leadership, RingPartner was recognized as one of Canada鈥檚 Fastest-Growing Companies on Canadian Business鈥 Growth List and also the winner of the Digiday Worklife Awards for the Most Passionate Employees.

Sarah was the recipient of VIATEC's Emerging Leader Award and was also included in Business in Vancouver鈥檚 Top 40 Under 40 list. She has been featured in Forbes, on NBC, and CBC News.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys renovating homes, spending time with her family & mentoring other women on their own career paths.

He is an accomplished marketing and eCommerce executive with over 25 years of leadership experience helping multiple venture-backed, early and growth-stage companies. He is also an avid investor, advisor, and mentor for a number of technology start-ups in the Austin area. Brian joined Buyerlink in 2019 due to the company鈥檚 commitment to diversity, reputable history, and positioning in the marketing technology space.

Prior to Buyerlink, Brian served as Vice President of Media and Strategic Partnerships at U.S. Auto Parts Network, Inc., a leading internet retailer of automotive aftermarket products where he helped the company grow sales in excess of $300M. Brian has also held a number of executive roles at Trilogy, Autobytel, and Autoweb.com. 聽He holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, University Park, Texas.

Prior to joining 黑料社, Carlton served as the CFO of Autoweb, a performance-based marketing company for the automotive industry, which was acquired by 黑料社 in 2022. Carlton is a certified public accountant, bringing nearly three decades of experience to 黑料社. Prior to joining Autoweb, Carlton spent fifteen years at Cox Automotive, holding multiple Vice President roles that focused on strategic planning, supply chain, and real estate. During his tenure, he also served as controller of the AutoTrader.com division.

Carlton began his career with Deloitte on the audit team, working out of the Atlanta office. He holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, where he graduated cum laude.

Ingle

Dan is the President and COO of Buyerlink, where he oversees the company's business performance and operations, including sales, product, and marketing. Previously, he served as the President and COO of AutoWeb, a subsidiary that operates independently while being owned by Buyerlink. His strategic guidance over the years has helped solidify AutoWeb鈥檚 market position and drive its operational success.

In his 30-year career, Dan has served in several operations and technology leadership roles within Cox Automotive, Kelley Blue Book, and Capital One. Most recently, he was responsible for international business development at Cox Automotive, leading the global expansion and in-market operation for the Kelley Blue Book and AutoTrader brands. Dan鈥檚 tenure in international resulted in business launches in China, Brazil, Australia, Portugal, and the UK. Prior to Kelley Blue Book being acquired by Cox Automotive in 2010, Dan was a leader in the transformation of the 80-year-old organization from a legacy print publisher to a data and analytics-enabled market leader. After several years as a consultant,聽Dan got his start in the automotive industry as a technology and data leader for a direct-to-consumer lending business, PeopleFirst.com, which was acquired by Capital One in 2003.聽

With most of his career spent in California, Dan now resides in the mountains of northern Utah with his family. When time permits, he enjoys outdoor activities like skiing, mountain biking, and trail running in the abundant fresh air.

Kinsey is the Vice President of 黑料社 Services and Appointment Marketplace at Buyerlink.

Kinsey has spent the last 15 years helping small businesses grow. From COO of one of the nation鈥檚 top deal sites, to CMO of a blockchain technology company, to a dual role as the VP of Marketing & the VP of Client Success for a digital marketing agency, she鈥檚 been lucky enough to wear multiple hats, achieve phenomenal growth, and work with incredible people.

Kinsey has extensive experience in digital marketing, product development, content creation, lead generation, and sales enablement. Her strengths lie in strategy, organization, execution, and optimization. Over the years, her greatest sense of fulfillment comes from building teams, mentoring employees and creating environments conducive to job satisfaction and growth. She loves the 鈥淕o-Giver鈥 mentality and strives to embody it in all of her interactions. Kinsey holds a BS in Business Marketing from the University of Utah.

Above all, Kinsey is a mom to 5 incredible daughters. While time for hobbies can be hard to come by, she enjoys working out, reading, watching her kids play sports, and going to an occasional concert.

Kelley

Tom is the Senior Vice President of the Automotive, Real Estate & Marketplace Operations for Buyerlink. He runs Buyerlink鈥檚 automotive and real estate divisions with a core focus on enterprise client growth and operations.

Tom has a strong background in sales, marketing, customer relations, and operations management. Prior to joining Buyerlink, he managed retail locations for two nationwide, private companies. He joined Buyerlink in 2004 and has held different roles in the company with diverse responsibilities 鈥 centered mostly around sales. At Buyerlink, he appreciates the honest communication style of the leadership team and enjoys the freedom to be an entrepreneur within his divisions and test ideas as they come up.

Tom holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Combined Sciences from Santa Clara University. While he changed his career interests from pre-med to business, Tom still applies his science background to online marketing with testing, analysis, and consumer psychology on websites.

Rudd attributes his long career at Buyerlink to the company鈥檚 commitment to inclusion, equality and work in the spirit of service. Rudd says the culture gives him a higher purpose that extends far beyond the walls of Buyerlink and cares deeply about ensuring these core values are cascaded throughout every single interaction and facet of his work. Knowing his service to the company acts as a vessel to giving back to our local and global community, is why he considers Buyerlink his forever home.

Prior to joining Buyerlink, Rudd cut his teeth in sales and service in retail management and as a licensed mortgage broker. He joined Buyerlink as an entry-level employee within Buyerlink鈥檚 (n茅e Reply.com) automotive division, but eagerly took on new roles.

Perhaps his biggest claim to fame, Rudd is the only employee in the history of One Planet to get not one, but two, tattoos of the company鈥檚 logos.

Gilbert is the Vice President of Information Technology at Buyerlink, where he manages teams of software engineers and web developers for the company鈥檚 patented marketplace.

In this role he collaborates with other executives on new business ideas and improvements to current products. Gilbert joined Buyerlink in 2002, when known as Reply.com. He is the architect behind Buyerlink鈥檚 home services and real estate platforms. Gilbert earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree from the University of California, Davis, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Economics.

In his spare time, Gilbert plays basketball and badminton, and enjoys discovering new music 鈥 especially progressive rock.

Mazloumi

Nima is the Chief Technology Officer at 黑料社 and it's subsidaries. He manages the complete product experience for users at every stage of development and communicates the strategy across leadership teams on the vision and direction for the product.

Nima has been a full-stack engineer for more than two decades with a focus on object-oriented programming, web, and mobile application development. He first joined 黑料社 in August 2018, attracted to the dedication to creativity in product and design, and for the company鈥檚 community service and philanthropy.

Prior to joining 黑料社, Nima worked for commercial, public, and nonprofit organizations in Europe and the Middle East, managing almost all divisions of an IT organization and complex IT transformations. He holds a doctoral degree in business administration and information systems from the University of Mannheim, Germany.

Nima has lived around the world with stops in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Germany, Israel, Namibia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. He currently resides with his family in California, is a singer-songwriter, and stays involved in several community-building activities.

She previously served as the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Ribbon Communications, where her leadership in rebranding efforts, mergers and acquisitions, and global communication strategies significantly expanded the company's reach and influence.

Originally from Iran and a former refugee in Germany before immigrating to the U.S., Bita has called Los Angeles home for over 35 years where she lives with her husband, Bruce. She is deeply committed to her family, including her five grandchildren. Beyond her professional endeavors, Bita is passionately involved in cultural and artistic initiatives, actively contributing to community and cultural organizations

As part of her role, Jenna manages the development of a fund structure to invest in seed and Series A companies. She also leads merger & acquisition efforts as Buyerlink grows its tech platform, both organically and through targeted acquisitions.

Prior to joining 黑料社, Jenna founded Phoenix Global Impact, a firm that specializes in impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and strategic philanthropy. She also worked with the World Bank Treasury on the development of green bonds. Jenna earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, is a P.D Soros Fellow for New Americans, a recipient of the Stanford Social Innovation Fellowship, an Echoing Green Fellow, a Summit Fellow, and was named in the Forbes 30 under 30 list for Social Entrepreneurship.

Outside of work, Jenna serves as the CEO of Impact Experience which facilitates deep relationships between investors, philanthropists, innovators, and leaders of underestimated communities. She also acts as an advisor to several community development organizations and youth investment projects.

Katherine holds an MBA from the Wharton School.

Esteban brings more than 20 years of experience in software delivery, and more than 15 years of experience leading engineering teams in the digital marketing industry. Prior to joining AutoWeb in 2016, Esteban held different leadership roles, including Director of Engineering for HealthCare.com, an insure-tech company, and Director of Engineering for Vantage Media, an advertising technology company.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and a M.S. in Applied Economics and Business Administration from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.

Andre is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Operations for 黑料社.

For over 20 years, Andre has worked with CEO's, executives and boards, from startups to Fortune 100s, working to identity initiatives and discover new sources of value. Prior to joining the 黑料社, he was a Director of Strategy at Accenture, where he also served as lead of North America Operations for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity.

Andre is a merit scholar and holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Rochester. He has executive training in sustainability from Oxford and executive certification in inclusive leadership from UCLA.

Beyond his leadership roles, Andre is a community activist with a passion for racial equity. He sits on the board of Chicago-based nonprofit, Organic Oneness, and is a Mayoral Advisor on DEI initiatives for the City of Walnut Creek.

Erin is the Vice President of Emerging Markets and Call Marketplace at Buyerlink.

A seasoned professional in the digital marketing arena, Erin embarked on her career journey in South Africa as a project manager before transitioning to a full-service marketing agency in her home country of Canada. A decade ago, she discovered her passion for performance media, leading her to contribute significantly to the success of RingPartner, a prominent pay-per-call network, over the past seven years.

Erin鈥檚 leadership philosophy revolves around cultivating empowered and accountable teams, and she takes immense pride in witnessing the growth and success of her fellow team members. Her enthusiasm for strategic challenges drives her towards new projects where she can flex her strategic muscles and navigate uncharted territories. An eternal optimist, she firmly believes in finding solutions for every problem, bringing a positive and solution-oriented mindset to the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape.

In her free time, Erin enjoys beekeeping, being in nature, writing music with her husband, and spending time with her all-boys family of five.

Jina is Vice President of Affiliate Marketing at Buyerlink, where she oversees all aspects of the leads business. She works with various internal teams and external lead providers to deliver high quality leads to our partners.

Before her role at Buyerlink, Jina joined AutoWeb in 2000, then known as Autobytel, and has held various positions across the organization including roles in sales and dealer operations, client retention, sales analysis, market representation, and finance. 聽She began working with automotive dealers when buying a car on the internet was in its infancy. Over the years, Jina has been privy to the many innovations and changes that the automotive industry has seen in the adaptation to technology and consumer trends. She has a BS from the University of California, Irvine and a MS from the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Jina enjoys the outdoors 鈥 backpacking, climbing, and hiking - and has recently learned how to ski. Her favorite trip to date has been rafting through the Grand Canyon. 聽She also plays the piano and drums and is learning how to play the guitar.
